ARNOVA's Scholarly Discussion List

ARNOVA-L is ARNOVA's longstanding email discussion listserv, connecting scholars, students, and practitioners engaged in nonprofit, voluntary action, and civil society research. The list provides a space to exchange ideas, share opportunities, post calls for papers, circulate job announcements, and continue scholarly conversations beyond conferences and publications.

How to Use ARNOVA-L

Once subscribed, send a message to all members by emailing [email protected]. ARNOVA-L is an unmoderated email discussion list — messages you send will be shared with the entire subscriber community and may be archived.

To maintain a collegial professional environment:

  • Include your full name in your posts
  • Keep messages relevant to nonprofit and voluntary action scholarship
  • Be respectful and professional in tone
  • Note that replies may go to the entire list unless you change the recipient
